วงหันและระยะทางหยุด ผลกระทบจากลมและกระแสน้ำ การเคลื่อนเดินและผลกระทบจากน้ำตื้น การนำเรือบริเวณที่มีพื้นที่จำกัด วิธีปฏิบัติในการจอดเรือทอดสมอและผูกทุ่น การนำเรือเก็บคนตกน้ำในทะเล เทคนิคการหันเรือ ผลกระทบจากสภาพชายฝั่งที่แคบ และเรือต่างๆ ที่เคลื่อนผ่าน การนำเรือในเขตรับส่งเจ้าพนักงานนำร่อง การนำเรือเข้า-ออกท่าเทียบ
Turning circles and stopping distances. Effect of wind and current on ship handling. Manoeuvring in shallow water and similar effects. Proper procedures for anchoring and mooring. Manoeuvres for rescue of person overboard constant rate of turn techniques. Interaction: bank, canal, ship and tug. Approaching a pilot vessel. Berthing and un-berthing.
